Saturday Sam and I decided to have a date day. We had a great day. We went to American Eagle and got some sunglasses for me. Then we went to Snuffers and had cheese fries. They are the best there. After stuffing our faces and our stomachs we were so full we could barely move. We went to see Prince of Persia. It was good. Sam decided on the movie and I think he liked it. After the movie we went to walk around Barnes and Noble for a while. By a miracle only I didn't get anything. Sam on the other hand got 2 huge books by Conan Doyle volume 1 and 2 of the Sherlock Holmes story. I was worn out by the end of the day. I went to bed early.
Today we are suppose to go over to Cory's house to go swimming and cookout. OK it is Memorial Day and yesterday we went to Cory's house and cooked out, swam, Sam and Cory both got a sunburn. Nobody would listen to me when it came to sunscreen. So of course I am the only one ready to go back out into the sun. We had a good time. It ended up being just Cory, Sam, and me hanging out.
Today we are heading back over for more fun in the sun. With sunblock this time. Several couples are going to be there today so it will be nice to have another female or two there. Plus some kids to see what my life will be like in just a couple of months. More cooking out and more food then I can probably eat but I am going to try. Wish me luck! Have a great Memorial Day!
