December 1, 2009 Day 1

On my way to work I called my Doctor to make an appointment to verify my findings of the previous night. My appointment was for 1:30. I got to work with my book in hand (I always carry a book) and that is how I told my closest co-workers. I asked them if they wanted to see the new book I was reading and I would turn it around. All the reactions were the same REALLY!! Oh my gosh! My Boss is really excited too. I pretty much didn't get any work done. I went to my appointment at 1:30 and the nurse confirmed it. Nurse Cory was just as surprised as I was. She proceeded to ask me if I had any symptoms yet and I told her no. We talked a little while and she told me I was not a normal case with all my wonderful body issues I've had in the past. She told me that we got pregnant around November 16 and I am due on August 6 that makes me 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. She handed me my prenatal vitamins and we scheduled my first Ultrasound for December 23. I headed back to work calling Sam and Cortnie on the way. I got back to work and re-told everyone that I was confirmed pregnant. Still couldn't get any work done but somehow I manged to still get a deal on the board. After work Sam and I went over to my parents house because my counsins Matt, his wife, and two children were in town. We were all in the kitchen eating Subway sandwiches when Sam looked at me and asked me to tell my family. I put my arms around Sam looked at my parents, Bonnye, Kyle, Grandma, and Grandpa started to tell them and Bonnye put her hands up and said WAIT!! because at that moment Steven and Meredith walked through the door. Which then my Dad screamed are you pregnant and I nodded my head. Everybody came rushing over to give there congrats and then tell me they wanted babysitting honors. I was more then happy to give. When we got home I went next door to see Tiffany. We read out of her pregnancy book that tells you about the baby. Our baby is 0.05 inches and it is beginning to form its brain and nervous system. I should begin to get morning sickness within the next couple of weeks or so. Off to bed to get some sleep.
