Week 8

Let's start with, I think I am in week eight. My doctor told me that the baby is 6 1/2 weeks old on Wednesday so I am thinking that makes me 8 weeks. Go with me on this. Anyway, lets see what is going to be going on this week. With me starting to show I want to know how big the baby is. The baby is about the size of a pinto bean. Why does it always have to be compared to food. Now, the book says that I should not be showing yet especially if this is my first baby but what do they know. This week the baby is getting eyelid folds and the tip of the nose. I hope it gets my nose. I would like to think I have a cute nose. The body is getting longer. Elbows are present , arms and legs, are longer. Fingers and toes are notched what ever that means. That is it for this week.
So far I still have not had any "symptoms" of pregnancy. I do get tired faster. It's funny Sam does not get off of work until 10:30 which means he gets home around 10:45-11:00. I can not for the life of me stay up that long. I try and try but it just does not happen. I am getting tired in the middle of the work day and I usually need a nap. Depending on what is going on I sometimes get one. Besides that not much going on. Happy to report moving smoothly.
